Which series this page can answer for
The NSA series are the same shape and differ by plating, so one drawing does for the lot — these are the words the card uses. The MIL series below are the same ring-tongue shape. As the maker’s drawings show it: a round tongue with the stud hole, a neck that tapers from the ring to the barrel, a barrel serrated inside, and — on the insulated lugs — a sleeve that covers the barrel and ends in a lip over the wire insulation.
| Series | Rows | What it is | Picture |
|---|---|---|---|
| NSA936501TA | 89 | Pre-insulated Stratotherm ring terminal, 260 °C (the site said 150 °C until 11.53). Sleeve colour by wire: brown 24–22, light grey or white 20, orange 18–16, white 14–12, black 12–10. | |
| NSA936503TD | 4 | Nylon P.I.D.G. terminal, 105 °C. | |
| NSA936504TC | 74 | Post-insulated Stratotherm terminal, −55 to 260 °C. No more procurable — the alternative is NSA936507. | |
| NSA936507TG | 84 | Non-insulated eye terminal, −55 to 260 °C. The two digits after TG are not always the wire size — the card gives the size from the item table. | |
| E0521TU | 31 | Post-insulated high-temperature eye terminal, −55 to 175 °C, insulated with an E0484 and an E0718 sleeve. | |
| MS25036 | 23 | Insulated ring tongue, nylon sleeve, 105 °C (SAE-AS25036, type II class 1). Red 22-18, blue 16-14, yellow 12-10 AWG. Dimensions on the 22-18 and 16-14 rows come from the maker’s drawing for the same terminal; the 12-10 rows carry wire and stud only. | |
| 1-36270, 696722 | 2 | Ring-tongue terminals listed beside MS25036 in the manual's table: wire and stud only (10–12 and 8 AWG on a #8 stud); no type, plating or dimensions are published. | |
| M7928/4 | 29 | The same shape to SAE-AS7928/4, for 150 °C conductor temperature. The dash number is read against the MS25036 dash of the same number, and each card says so; five dash numbers (-143 to -147) have no MS25036 twin and carry no size. | |
| MS20659 | 40 | Uninsulated copper-tube ring tongue for power cable, 8 AWG to 250 kcmil on studs up to 1/2 in. Wire and stud only — the dimension columns of the source table are not carried here. | |
| NSA936505TE, 506TF | 17 | The TE flag terminal (288 °C) and the TF Solistrand terminal used on bonding braids (105 °C), with wire, stud, stripping and tools; no dimensions. | |
| NSA936502TB | 10 | Non-insulated TB terminal, 22–16 AWG, 260 °C, studs #2 to 1/4. | |
| NSA936509TJ, 510TK | 5 | Right-angle terminal TJ (2 AWG, 288 °C) and slotted-tongue terminal TK (22–14 AWG, 105 °C) — stripping and tools only; no stud size is given. | |
| E0466TS | 40 | Aluminium terminal for aluminium cable, −65 to 180 °C Stud and hole diameter per item code; stripping and tools depend on the cable type (AD, YV, QP) and are not carried. | |
| E0348 | 2 | Thermocouple terminals: TM chromel (grey), TN alumel (green), 22 AWG, 260 °C. | |
| Other terminals and lugs | 48 | Electrical terminals, lugs and earth lugs of the aircraft’s parts catalogue and of the check history that are not in the series above (ABS0374, ABS0994, ABS1069, DAN387, E0425, M81714, NSA934120 and maker numbers). A part written under several numbers is one card, and its note lists the others — any of them finds it. Size is not published in the sources found, so the card says so. | |
| ABS0593, E0296, DAN417 | 5 | Spring spade terminal, ground pick-up terminal (for the E0295 connector) and a non-insulated 6 AWG terminal. |
Specification data (11.53). Every NSA936501 / 503 / 504 / 505 / 506 / 507 and E0521 card carries the specification block: wire and stud from the allocation table, colour, temperature, stripping and crimping tools. {sum(ni.values())} older rows of those series are not in the allocation tables and their cards say so; rows whose table wire or stud differs from what the site held lost their dimensions, which belonged to the other reading.
A lug whose card shows on this aircraft is one whose part number is in the aircraft’s own parts catalogue. The rest are catalogue rows: correct lugs, not necessarily lugs fitted to this aeroplane.
REFERENCE ONLY — not authorized for maintenance, repair or return-to-service. Dimensions are catalogue figures. A lug is only as good as its crimp: the die, the positioner and the tool are named by the maintenance task or the wiring practices manual, never chosen from a dimension table. Where a plating is published it is part of the specification and not a finish — see the 260 °C note above.
